Photographic print from the 1950s, copy of an older photograph, likely from a photographer's lookbook taken at horse races.The photograph is captioned "Schiaparelli 929" and to the left of the image are two overlapping circles, one of which is black, which is probably a code specific to the photographer or the magazine. The photograph represents a woman taken from the face, but the shot only shows the silhouette from the shoulders to above the knees. the shot focuses on a pair of extremely graphic white gloves in the middle of the image where the whole silhouette is in dark color. The woman is holding a handbag with an extremely avant-garde design, in a material that seems to be shagreen. She carries a newspaper and an umbrella under her arm. The coat can easily be attributed to the Schiaparelli house because of these buttons.Material
