Description
Pair of silk brocade shoes in autumnal color floral pattern and lined with fur of ferret.

This pair of boots comes from the wardrobe of Tatiana Nikitichna SAMSSONOW, born NALBANDOVA (1885–1971), owner of Petrovskaya Vodka factory. The Russian millionaire had come to join her husband stationed in Paris shortly before 1914. Unfortunately the WW1 broke out and left his trunks closed. They were not reopened until 1993 when his descendants found them. These treasures, almost intact, were bought by Alexander VASSILIEV.
