Description
Two paper photographs depicting three catherinettes and their original, oriental inspired, caps: from left to right: Marie-Therese, Nicole and Collette; In memory of the visit of Missis Farah DIBA, the fiancée of the Shah of Iran, who sent greetings to the catherinettes of the various fashion houses that she visited during her stay in Paris.

"Coiffe Catherinette" , was worn by unmarried women, 25 or older, on St Catherine's day. On the day of the Feast of St Catherine, unmarried women would celebrate by wearing green and yellow decorated hats. On that day, they would pray and people would wish for them to find a husband.
