Description
Paper photograph depicting a model wearing a Pierre BALMAIN creation "RUE FRANCOIS 1er" for the autumn-winter 1961-62 collection. The "Pythagorean" regularity line defines this new collection and less than ever, sacrifice to the effect. Using fabric slantingly allows to surround the body and determine the "tube" shape. Skirt length remains unchanged.This winter coat represents the "tube" line, it's designed of large black and white check wool and decorated with black astrakhan fur. The model wears a hat and a muff decorated with black astrakhan as well and the black pumps.
