Limited Edition colour costume print of original designs for the Bolshoi theatre ballet "Nutcracker" of 1919, for a costume of "Russian Doll" (Матрешка). In one of the highlights from the Grand Divertissement of Sweets, three Russian Dolls dance a vigorous national folk dance for their honoured guest, Clara. The print is numbered 548 out of 5000 examples, framed and glazed, signed by the Director of the theatre museum Valery ZARUBIN, and Managing Director of Compton & Woodhouse, Rinalda WARD. The original costume design sketch was created by Konstantin KOROVIN (also spelled as Constantin Korovine, Russian 5 December [23 November] 1861 – 11 September 1939), a leading Russian Impressionist painter.Materials
