Limited Edition colour costume print of original designs for the Bolshoi theatre ballet "Nutcracker" of 1919, for a costume of "The Jester" (Шут). A picture of gaiety and fun in the midst of the seasonal festivities, the Jester brings warmth and laughter to all who see him. The print is numbered 548 out of 5000 examples, framed and glazed, signed by the Director of the theatre museum Valery ZARUBIN, and Managing Director of Compton & Woodhouse, Rinalda WARD. The original costume design sketch was created by Konstantin KOROVIN (also spelled as Constantin Korovine, Russian 5 December [23 November] 1861 – 11 September 1939), a leading Russian Impressionist painter.Materials
