Description
Set of nine sheets of black handmade embroideries featuring stylized flowers and ornamental patterns. The embroideries consist of long and short glass beads, faceted glass cabochons, and sequins sewn on to a black tulle base. Three feature concentric sunburst motifs, two feature linear motifs, two feature pairs of tassled semicircle designs, and two feature varied floral patterns.
These decorative elements were often used to adorn clothing or accessories during the Art Deco period.
